Divers can adjust the dual nitrox mixes, switch the Dual Algorithm, gas mixes, user display, and alarms, all on the go, both pre- and post-dive. The computer connects to your smartphone through the free DiverLog+ App. The Geo 4.0 also features Oceanic's patented DSAt or Pelagic Z+ Dual Algorithm and a brand-new XL display area with wider font and up to 33 per cent larger digits. For additional personalisation, the Geo 4.0 is available with five different colour straps in black, white, blue, yellow and sea blue.

The computer comes with a comprehensive owner's manual.Oceanic Geo 4.0 Continues Bluetooth Compatible Dive Computer Rangeįollowing the release of the new ProPlus 4.0 air-integrated dive computer, Oceanic has also updated its Geo 4.0 wrist-mounted dive computer for 2019.ĭivers can connect the Geo 4.0 to a smartphone app via the free-to-download DiverLog+ App, which allows customisation of setting pre- and post- dive via the inbuilt Bluetooth 4.0 connection. When in low light conditions the Geo 2.0 is equipped with a backlight with an adjustable duration function and much more. The Computer has an operational depth of 330' (100m). The computer is powered by a CR2430 lithium battery that can provide up to 300-dive hours. The computers altitude algorithm is Buhlmann, IANDT, RDP (Cross) with altitude correction and O2 limits based on the NOAA tables and provides altitude adjustability from 3,001' to 14,000' (916m to 4,200m).
#OCEANIC GEO 5 PC#
Optional PC interface with OceanLog download and settings upload, 24 dive log memory for diving and 99 dives in free dive mode. Single button access to "last dive" display (max depth & bottom time), data retention - maintains calculations indefinitely when the battery is changed, audible alarm with flashing LED light, 24 dive on-unit log book and history mode includes total number of dives, max depth, total dive hours, and lowest temp. Stop times less than 3 minutes - displays minutes & seconds, deep stop with countdown timer maybe turned on or off, 2-minute countdown at half your max depth, for dives greater than 80' (25 meters). Switch between up to 2 Nitrox mixes to 100% O2 with no restriction (Gas 1 may be up to 100% and may be less or greater than Gas 2).
With dual algorithm and optional conservative factor settings, the Geo 2.0 may be programmed to provide no deco and deco profiles like virtually every computer on the market.Ĥ Operating Modes: WATCH (alternate time, chrono, daily alarm, countdown timer), NORM (Air and Nitrox), GAUGE (with run timer) and FREE (tracks calculations to allow switching between NORM and Free).

Additionally, a second Nitrox mix (both programmable to 100%) is available, as well as firmware auto-update which allows the user to download and install operational improvements or even future new features through the PC Interface (with optional cable). The Geo 2.0 includes Oceanic's exclusive Dual Algorithm Buhlmann ZHL-16c based PZ+, or DSAT based, algorithm, deep stop option and a redesigned user interface with "step back" which allows forward and backward navigation through menus and settings. btw although the plastic housing shows some wear I still wear it to the office. In the beginning it was difficult to figure everything out but once you have it setup the way you like it you are probably rarely going to need to go deep into the menus. I have read about some people complaining about temperature inaccuracy, I cannot comment on that as the Red Sea is generally warm and temperature is not on and important peace of data to me, however the rest of the dive parameters are spot on and consistently accurate. ow battery warning and I just changed it, not bad battery lifetime if you ask me.
I've had it now for almost exactly 2 years, its history log says 144 dives with a total of 124 hours of bottom time. Good old Scan 4 which served me for 12 years and an Aeris console rig which I was not fond of due to limited bottom time, then I did my homework and looked for the dive computer that was "generous" with its bottom time and the Geo2 fit the bill. Been diving regularly for the past 30 years of my life and have owned 3 computers during this time.
